WEDNESDAY, May 21


Prom at Linda’s Tavern
Spiked punch, prom photos, and a DJ set by Tacocat will set the tone for a prom party at Linda’s Tavern. Prom starts at 9pm, so have your corsage ready by then.


On Different Tracks: Race, Class, and Education
Humanities Washington is hosting another Think and Drink event at Naked City Brewery and Taphouse in Greenwood. UW Bothell professor Wayne Au and Seattle Times education reporter Claudia Rowe will lead a conversation on race in education starting at 7pm. Reservations are not required.


THURSDAY, May 22


Beer vs. Wine Dinner at Tulio Ristorante
Kimpton Hotels master sommelier Emily Wines (yes, that’s her real last name) will be making an appearance at this downtown Italian restaurant’s four-course dinner. Each course will be paired with a local beer or wine, and guests can vote on their favorite pairing. The $65 dinner begins at 6pm. Reservations are available online.


Molly Wizenberg at Book Larder
Blogger, author, restaurateur and all-around Seattlebrity Molly Wizenberg shows up at Book Larder from 6:30–8pm for a dessert party, author talk, and book signing. Guests at the $10 event will receive a $5 discount on Wizenberg’s new book, Delancey. Reservations are available online.


Sriracha Night at Safeco Field
This cultish Vietnamese hot sauce will be slathered on hot dogs, garlic fries, and even milkshakes when the Mariners take on the Houston Astros this Thursday. A $25 ticket will get you a main level seat, a Mariners Sriracha T-shirt, and a voucher for one menu item. Tickets are available online.


FRIDAY, May 23


Wine Dinner at Volunteer Park Café
Chef Ericka Burke teams up with winery owner Meg Gilbert and winemaker Justin Neufeld of Yakima Valley’s Gilbert Cellars for a five-course wine dinner. The $95 dinner begins at 7pm with Pierre Robert cheese, drunken strawberries, and a 2013 Gilbert Cellars rosé. Call 206-328-3155 for reservations.


SATURDAY, May 24


HoneyHole 15th Anniversary
The Capitol Hill sandwich joint will be serving craft beers on tap for $3.50 all day and night, as well as $4 well drinks when the bar opens at 5. HoneyHole trivia, free swag, and a performance by local band Country Lips at 6pm will round out the day.


SUNDAY, May 25


Crab Boil at E. Smith Mercantile
Chef Michasia Pawluskiewicz of Taylor Shellfish and Bar Sajor will be visiting this Pioneer Square restaurant for a four-course crab boil. Just 25 spaces are available for the $75 dinner, which will include Fregola pasta with steamed shellfish and Rain Shadow sausage and steamed or baked Dungeness crab. MONDAY, May 26


Burger Month Celebrations
May is National Hamburger Month, and two restaurants are getting in just under the wire. King’s Hardware in Ballard will sell its specialty burgers—from the guacamole-topped Tijuana burger to the goat cheese and red pepper Billy Burger—for $5 off all night on Monday. Li’l Woody’s is doing them one better, with free burgers at its Capitol Hill and Ballard locations from 2–5pm.
